Merry Christmas! We hope you all had a fun and safe one with friends and family. We know we did :) For three of the pups, they spent time with their NEW families. It was a little sad for us to let them go, but we know that the three families we met will make wonderful forever homes for them which will also allow them to be the #1 dogs in their respective families.
With the holidays amongst us, it's sometimes difficult to find time for rest and relaxation. Peanut, Marley and Cinnamon, however, try to catch zzz's whenever and wherever they can. We've noticed that they've been sleeping really fast, and we think it's because they exert a lot of energy trying to get warm. It was easy to produce a 6-dog pig pile on their puppy pillow, but now that there's only three, they're trying to be really crafty by cuddling with Mocha and Adobe, their uncle Haven and even in the new Snuggie! Hahahaha.
Here are some funny pics of them being resourceful:
Let us know if you'd like to help keep one of these puppies warm by adopting them! They would LOVE forever homes :)
Take care!

Saturday night - Puppy randomness
With all of the holiday shopping, festivities and everyday tasks, we've been trying to spend as much time with the pups as possible. They'll be eight weeks on Wednesday and this will be our last weekend with three of them :( We're happy and sad at the same time :)
In no particular order, here are a few pics of them (and others) from the last week. They're growing so fast:
Mocha is such a good mommy. She's still trying to nurse as much as she can, even though she not producing much milk anymore. I think she's just taking advantage of the opportunity to spend more time with her babies:
Lindsey and her "favorite", Peanut:
She's cuddling with Peanut, while the others are tearing up their pillow. LOL:
Adobe Jr. looks in on the action:
Cinnamon is waiting for her chance to get in on it:
Jersey and Hazel look so innocent:
We made some starter bags for the pups' new owners, consisting of potty pads, a section of their favorite blanket to remember us by, two types of food, a food bowl, rawhides and squeaky toys (so far):
So tired from playing:
Peek a boo!
Marley taking a minute out of his precious play time to pose for the camera:
Peanut too!
Here's little 'ol Peanut playing with his 100+ lb Doberman uncle, Haven (the pups are GREAT with bigger dogs and humans too):
Despite getting cozy in the bed, Adobe Jr. still wants to play:
Haven wore out Peanut:
Ahhh, time for nap, finally!
Still tired :)
Marley HAS to sleep on the bed... so spoiled!
It's okay, more room for the rest of them :)

Puppy Updates
The puppies will be seven weeks this Wednesday, which means they'll only be one week away from their forever homes. We're getting a little sad :( but know that they're going to make their new families VERY happy :) Here's an impromptu group photo of them, with labels:
It's amazing how much LESS we have to train them than Mocha's first litter, Chubby and Tubby because they learn SO much from each other. They're becoming familiar with their potty pads and are pretty good at aiming :) It's like clockwork... They go:
-When they wake up
-Before they go to sleep
-After they play
-After they eat
House training a dog is a lot of work, but when it comes down to it, it's all about knowing your pup and repetition. As long as you take them outside (or in our case, place a potty pad down) before/after any of the times listed above, then s/he will get used to it and go on the spot. Try it ;)
Anyway, Marley was the first born and it definitely shows. He's definitely the most-curious and the most-influential. Here he is, peering over the "barrier" we put up between their play are and the non-play area:
He's definitely searching for a way to get to the other side. He even got his brother, Adobe, Jr. involved:
Here are all the chocolates. Realizing that they can't get over the barrier, rendezvous-ing on their pillow is usually the safest (and warmest) bet:
And back to Marley... he got over, but was pooped in the process. He made himself so tired that he put himself to sleep:
Works for us :)
Marley and Peanut (red, males) are both still available for pickup on 12/24. We also have one chocolate female available for pick up to. They'd be GREAT last-minute Christmas presents (I guess you can try to stuff them in stockings, but that'd be too obvious).
E-mail us for more info! Have a great week.

New Forever Home - Adobe Jr.
Mocha and Adobe had three boys in their litter of six, but only one of them is chocolate. We felt it was fitting to name him Adobe, Jr. His new owner will probably rename him, but for the time being, he's his daddy's little man, errr, puppy.
What we DO know is he will DEFINITELY take care of his new family... Sorry ladies, he's taken :)
He's so handsome!
